DIAMANT LÜTTJE KLUNTJE WHITE CUBE CANDY SUGAR
SMALL ROCK SUGAR FOR EAST-FRISIAN TEA CEREMONY
When it comes to tea drinking, there’s one region in Germany in particular – East Frisia – where it has become a ceremonious act. The East Friesians are the biggest tea drinkers in the world, even more than the British. In 2016, the East Frisian Tea Ceremony is granted UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) Cultural Heritage status.
Our Lüttje Kluntje White Cube Candy Sugar is your personal piece of East Frisia. These sweet little pieces of rock sugar are the perfect choice if you don’t quite have time for the traditional three cups of tea required by the East Frisian tea ceremony. Just add our Lüttje Kluntje White Cube Candy Sugar to your cup and enjoy North German serenity, sip for sip.
SweetFamily Kluntje is the little of the Kandis cristalls and perfect for the traditional Eastfrisian Tee ceremony . It solves slowly and adds a light sweetness to the tea.
THE EAST FRISIAN TEA CEREMONY
Preheat the teapot and add a teaspoon of the East Frisian mix for each cup you want to serve. Then add an extra spoonful ‘for the pot’. Pour in boiling water and steep the tea on a teapot warmer for 3-5 minutes. Then pour into a preheated pot through a strainer. Now place 1-2 pieces of Lüttje Kluntje White Cube Candy Sugar – or more if you like – into each cup, pour over the tea and add cream very carefully using a spoon. Do not stir; the Lüttje Kluntje White Cube Candy Sugar dissolves slowly and is still enough for a further cup of tea.
