Sauerbraten (sliced beef with gravy, fully cooked)
Our Sauerbraten is marinated in red wine and vinegar, with just the right amount of spice. Each package contains several slices of beef, swimming in our delicious sweet and sour gravy.

Our Sauerbraten is fully cooked, and needs only to be heated and served. It’s best to empty the contents into a pot, as the gravy needs to be whisked slightly upon reheating. If you want to make the sauce extra decadent, after removing pot from heat, add 1 or 2 tablespoons of butter and mix until melted.
Serve Sauerbraten the traditional German way with our bread dumplings and red cabbage. It’s also delicious served with pasta, spaetzle, potatoes, or any kind of vegetable.
Will keep up to 1 week after arrival if refrigerated in original vacuum-sealed packaging.
You can freeze this item for up to 2 months without affecting flavor or quality. If frozen, defrost slowly in refrigerator; do not thaw at room temperature.
