Our Mettwurst tea sausage spread is a very fine ground salami spread made from pork and beef. It owes its distinctive flavor and color from a healthy dusting of paprika.

Mettwurst is a cured sausage which is ready to eat as is with no cooking required. Customers are encouraged to enjoy it straight from the package. This spread is best served cold on rye, toasted whole wheat bread, or crackers.
Will keep without freezing; it will only air dry in refrigerator, and will remain fresh up to 3 weeks. Sausages need air circulation, and keep best when wrapped in paper towel once opened. Otherwise, leave unopened in vacuum-sealed packaging. Should vacuum packaging become loose—indicating an air leak—remove immediately and wrap in paper towel.
